When subject and representation are set aside, shape and colour assume their full presence. The placement of forms establishes a compositional architecture, generating rhythm, balance, tension, and exchange across the picture plane. Colour, considered through relationships of harmony and contrast, extends this visual language, engaging both perception and emotion.

Rather than prescribing meaning, I offer a space for encounter. Each work exists as an invitation rather than an explanation. Devoid of narrative, symbolism, or recognisable subject matter, these paintings resist fixed interpretation, allowing the viewer to bring their own associations, memories, and sensibilities to the experience. In this exchange, meaning is not delivered but discovered.
